| Wesley has been playing hockey since he was 5 years old. He started in the house league at SDIA, then played for SDIA squirt B Ice-Qubs team. This past season Wesley played with mite A and squirt A/B team. Wesely was awarded the MVP in the San Jose Jr. Sharks tournament where his Qub team won the championship. Wesely scored the winning goal in the mite A championship game in overtime to win the game. He also was awared the MVP honors at that tournament. In 2004 Wesley appeared in a Ford Motor Company commercial where he had the opportunity to work with Phil Michelson and Wayne Gretzy, which is one of his sports idols. It was not only a great experience, it provided funds toward his eventual college education. In addition to Ice hockey, Wesley's also plays tennis, roller hockey, paint ball, he snowboards and bowls. On and off the ice Wesely is bigger than his size, he has been doing martial arts for the past 4 years. Wesley is in the 4th grade at Murdock Elementary. | |  | |
