Nick Klishko #28

Nick Klishko started playing hockey at the age of 6 at the San Diego Ice Arena. He began his career as a left-winger/goaltender on the San Diego Ice-Qubs mite tournament team of the 2003/2004 season, earning MVP-of-the-game award as a goalie at his first tournament. The following season, Nick played center and both wings and was alternate captain. In 2005, he played center on the San Diego Hockey Club squirt summer team. This season, Nick is a center forward on the Ice-Qubs squirt A team.

Nick was born on the Thanksgiving Day in 1996. He has two older sisters, Renata and Kristina, who are both in the ice hockey program at SDIA. Nick plays competitive soccer on the PQ Premier Red team. He enjoys playing video games, basketball, tennis, swimming and roller skating. Nick is strong in math. He plays the flute in the school band and is also learning to play the piano and the guitar. Nick loves pizza and bread sticks. Nick's all-time favorite hockey player is Vladislav Tretiak. His favorite hockey players who currently play in the NHL are Alexander Frolov and Sergei Fedorov. Nick got a puck from Sergei, which he treasures as a keepsake. One of Nick's favorite movies is Miracle, which helps him in building a strong character to be able to survive Craig's coaching.
