| Jared's hockey career began in Illinois when he put on his first pair of skates at the age of 3 1/2. A year later he began playing hockey for the Joliet Jaguars. When he was 6 years old he moved to California, where Jared left the ice and played roller hockey. With his older brother Eric, his roller team won the Poway championship. After his one season of roller hockey it was time to get back on the ice. His first ice team in California was in Escondido, playing for the Preditors. The Predators included three other current teammates Christian Gerrits, Drake DeBerry, and Dillon Krill. One year later Jared came to SDIA where he has now played for three seasons. Jared is honored to be playing on the squirt tournament team and is working hard to be a team player. Jared is a fifth grader at Creekside Elementary, where his class if currently enjoying victories in 'Nation-Ball' When Jared is not on the ice you can catch him either on the baseball or soccer field. A little known fact about #7 is his love of music. Jared currently plays the piano, guitar, and drums. Some of Jareds other hobbies include going to the beach, skateboarding, and snowboarding. | | |
