Jacob comes to the Qubs from the Kitchener Rangers organization in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Jacob started skating at age 5 in the Hockey Fundamental program. He has played ice hockey since 2002 and has been playing travel hockey since 2003. Highlights of Jacob's hockey career have been winning most valuable player in the Wayne Gretzky Tournament game the day before leaving for California and meeting Curtis Joseph during another tournament. Jacob’s favorite NHL team is the Toronto Maple Leafs and his favorite player is Mats Sundin. A natural defenseman, Jacob loves making the perfect pass to break a forward free. Jacob is in 5th Grade at Village Elementary School in Coronado. When not playing hockey Jacob enjoys boogie boarding, tennis, playing video games and reading. |
