| Dylan is 10 years old and started rollerblading in his family’s driveway at the age of 2. Soon after, he picked up a hockey stick and started smacking pucks and balls around, and the rest is history..... Dylan started playing organized hockey at the age of 6, playing for the Temecula Bulldogs roller hockey team with current teammate, Christian Gerrits. The next season at age 7 he had his first ice hockey experience at the Escondido Iceoplex, where he & Christian played on the Predators with their other current ‘mates, Drake DeBerry and Jared Lawrence. The following season he moved to SDIA where he played for the SD Ice Qubs Mite Tournament team. Last year he played for the Qubs Squirt B team which, coached by Craig Sterling, brought home 4 tournament banners. This past summer he played, along with current teammates Nick Klishko, Drake Deberry, and Troy Grahl for the San Diego Gulls tournament team, where they won the July 4th holiday tournament at the Valencia Ice Station. When not on the ice Dylan still plays roller hockey. Dylan enjoys and excels at most other sports, loves to hang out at the beach where he boogyboards, skimboards, and especially enjoys driving his parents crazy on his skateboard. Dylan is a 5th grader at Rancho Elementary school where he is in the GATE program and maintains an A average. | | |
